hehe…. a rather fun event i guess you could say… didnt do much there though… couldnt eat.. couldnt drink…. and i had to perform… boy, was i parched! anyways.. there were basically two venues for the performances… namely the concourse and the performance theatre. The one at the concourse was quite bad… had to sing 2 songs…. so we chose rivermaya’s you’ll be safe here and richie valens’ la bamba. The 1st song had a minor glitch… not well-done… whereas la bamba at least had a bit of rhythm and flow to the song… hehe….. mebbe that’s why i sang that nicer… who knows?
2nd performance at the PT…. not so sure but from the reviews i get.. .we were actually quite good! haha! again attempted the rivermaya song but this time with the song that we performed during our actual guitar ensemble concert, “close to heaven” by color me badd. more space to manouver myself… but did some weird stuff on stage.. haha… it would look alright if the band was like a real band.. but at that time it was just my members sitting on chairs playing guitar! haha! so i looked kinda stupid.. but oh well… and the 2nd song… was so afraid i wont be able to hit the falsetto due to my dry throat but it turned out alright i think… if some unknown guy/girl (especially hot girls) says u sound good… damn the feeling’s so awesome! haha!
